Richard Made Everyone Feel Important
I would like to tell you about an experience that I had once. My
ex-boss Richard put others first, especially me. Richard wanted
everyone to learn other trades so that they could do their best in
life as well as at the job site.
Richard was my best friend, as well as the best boss I have ever
had because he made me feel like I could trust him. It was like a
father-daughter situation at home. Richard went to bat for me when
he needed to. He took me out to lunch and really wanted to know
about me, and about my day.

That made the workers feel special. You wanted to give 100 % and
more to please Richard, because of all the things he had done for
you . Now Richard is no longer with us and I am real sad, because
the boss that I have now does not make you feel like you are worth
anything . You can't discuss your day with this boss like you could
with Richard. Richard was one of those bosses everyone only dreams
of having in their company.
